Tim Lindsay-Field

Tim has been with horses all his life, from his early days on the family beef and sheep properties, beginning with his first pony through to the stock horses and his polo ponies. Moving away from cattle and sheep, Tim established a thoroughbred stud where he stood imported stallions, agisted mares, foaled down and was one of the pioneers in walking mares on to studs. The farm was a large consignor of thoroughbred yearlings to the major national sales.

Moving horses is a fundamental aspect of most horse operations, yet it is undervalued. Tim has been moving horses for more than twenty years. He has moved a vast array of horses from high-priced yearlings, mares and foals, racehorses to the child’s pony and unbroken stock that have barely been handled. Tim’s experience and understanding of horses is held by only a few.
